Carriers rely on our industry leading software for dispatch management, shipment tracking and route planning, along with GPS driver tracking and signature capture for full proof of delivery. Shippers who need real time business intelligence for route distribution, delivery and freight tracking along with complete B2B integration rely on Datatrac solutions built to meet their specific needs for logistics operations.

Education:  BA/BS required, MBA preferred

Business Experience:

  1. Direct sales of carrier services to shippers, 3PLs, 4PLs, and others
  2. Selling technology as part of an integrated logistics solution for shippers, 3PLs and 4PLs
  3. Matching the company’s solutions to prospective customer requirements in both new and existing markets
  4. Approaching, entering, and developing new vertical markets for transportation and logistics services
  5. Demonstrated history of meeting, and preferably exceeding, aggressive sales goals

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Sell cloud-based visibility, carrier management, business intelligence and related supply-chain solutions to companies in a variety of industries
  2. Consult with prospects and customers to create agent enablement programs. Manage expectations of both customers and agents at all management levels: executive, station manager and operations
  3. Manage sales and marketing as it applies to the enablement program.
  4. Work with Marketing to create sales tools for all programs.
  5. Manage all necessary documentation for the sales process (e.g. contracts)
  6. Liaise closely with Product Management for input on product strategy, needs and direction
  7. Liaise closely with Professional Services on implementation processes and problem resolution.

Sales Goals:

  1. Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals.
  2. Establish a clear leadership position for Datatrac in the non-integrated, expedited transportation market and be regarded as the leader by key parties.
  3. Provide clear and accurate projections of future revenue to executive management
  4. Establish a strong pipeline that drives incremental revenue
  5. Provide market and customer feedback to both Product Management and Marketing to ensure that the company enhances current products and introduces new ones which are attractive to the market.
