There are some exciting things happening at Datatrac. We’ve just returned from CLDA where we announced our entirely new software platform, Ascend. Datatrac for Drivers on Android has become the industry standard mobile application and is being enhanced at a rapid pace. New features are being added to Datatrac Web on a regular basis, providing our customers with the technology to win new business. We’re busy, but that’s the way we like it.
To support all of the new activity, we’ve decided it’s time to upgrade our corporate office. Our new address will be 3820 Mansell Road, Alpharetta Ga 30022, less than 3 miles from our current location. The name of the facility is Parkside Terrace East. We think the new, more modern, open configuration, will match up nicely to the way we work. The space is bright, the campus is beautiful, the area has all the amenities we enjoy now, so we can’t wait to move in.
The majority of the move will happen over Memorial Day weekend. If you are in need of support between 8 am ET on Saturday May 25th and 8 am ET on Tuesday May 28th, please call our answering service directly at 404-362-8357. This is a normal procedure whenever we make changes to our phone system so we don’t anticipate any significant delays in responding to customers. We will have periods of time over the following few days, May 28th through May 31st, where some employees will be working remotely as office furniture is moved. Again, this is a normal procedure for us so we don’t anticipate any issues.
Moving our corporate office will have no impact on our COPS and STATIS Software as a Service installations. All of the infrastructure for those services is located at our Data Center and will not be affected in any way.
